Taking a crash course in microscopy

Following in the footsteps of tiny giants

I've recently purchased a 2nd hand microscope to investigate for myself some of the unsettling claims of contaminants in medical supplies/OtC's, food products, and environmental samples. Being completely new to microscopy however, the prospect can be quite daunting. I'm taking a “learn as you go” approach and leaning a little on the expertise of some incredibly talented people I've had the good fortune of meeting as a result of the world turning upside-down. For now, my aim is simply to post and share my findings. Hopefully I'll learn and improve and connect with people who share my objectives. Please feel free to chime in with any tips, advice or identifications for the strange things I see developing on my slides.
